ERF description: Second turbine of unit 2 was connected to grid after overhaul. During automatic 1%/min power increase at 30% (75MW) of rated power a SG water level swinging occurred. The level changes were too quick to be corrected efficiently. Due to unbalance between power produced and power removed the pressure in SG main steam collector dropped down to the treshold of turbine protection and turbine was set aside. Because the first turbine of unit 2 was still not connected it caused action of reactor protection of 1st class and the reactor was shut down. Preliminarily this event was rated at level 1. Investigations have not been completed.
