ERF description: During routine testing of the ventilation systems of the building for auxiliary systems, one fan did not start. The reason was found to be incorrect connection of a cable to a relay. The following inspection revealed several similar deficiencies. Therefore the plant was brought to hot standby for further investigations and corrective actions.
Several previous identical routine testings according to Technical Specifications did not reveal this failure.
Level 1, due to expected initiation and because adequate safety functions were available according to Table 1 of the User's Manual.
