ERF description: On 12-8-92 at 1433 hrs. startup auxiliary transformer X03B tripped on differential protection on Phase A, B & C. Due to unfavourable weather condition, filtration of oil for filling OLTC compartment took more time. This along with other maintenance work and dissolved gas analysis caused transformer outage exceeding Technical Specification limit of 7 days. This was a violation of TechSpecs Clause 3.7B.3(a). The transformer was returned to service on 26.8.92 at 1346 hrs.
