ERF description: Hourly sample of process water return showed tritium activity. Investigations indicated that Dousing Tank is getting drained. Further investigation revealed that process water pressure was low due to a passing valve resulting in partial draining of dousing tank as per design.
Total activity release off-site was well within operation limit and condition. Hence event is rated below scale.
