ERF description: On 31-3-92 at 1505 hrs. there was a cascade tripping of Units/feeders in MSEB system causing system frequency to crash down which in turn locked-out unit no. 2 generator. This also tripped Gujarat feeders at far end on under frequency reverse power relay actuation. This caused toal loss of power to the Station and Unit no. 2 scrammed due to deenergizing the safety system relays.
