On 17 March 2026, Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority was informed by the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant that at approximately 19:00 Iran Standard Time (IRST), a projectile struck the premises of the power plant. As of this moment, no damage to the facility or injuries to individuals have been reported. It should be emphasized that attacks on nuclear facilities are prohibited, and such actions are contrary to all international norms and the principles of international law.
